I have been active in photography since early in 2000, and have a professional approach when it comes to my passion for the visual arts. I am a fulltime photographer for The Black Angel | Gothic Clothing Store in Luxemburg, and do most of their product photography as well as their webdesign. In addition to that, I often work on various art projects as well as band photography. And of course I am available for any kind of freelance work.

mini-biography
Born in 1976 in Germany, but my passport says Luxembourg, a tell-tale sign of my international background. From childhood on I have been used to travelling a lot, growing up in different countries, learning to appreciate foreign cultures and habits – and also speaking fluent English, German, French, Norwegian. And since settling down in Luxembourg in the years 2000, my own mother tongue. I have a University Degree in International Sales & Marketing, but my real passion is photography, which I stumbled upon by accident in the year 2000. Since then, I have shot well over 20.000 photos, in fashion, glamour portraits and of course live photography.

works & recognition
My photos have been published in magazines like Sonic Seducer, Zillo and Orkus, have been featured on the covers and booklets of albums of gothic and industrial bands (Nik Page, Songs of Lemuria, Soko Friedhof,…) and my live coverage includes bands like Combichrist, Terminal Choice, Deathstars and of course old school legends Fields of the Nephilim. A keen eye for cropping images has led me to shooting my “bodyparts” series, tightly cropped photos that focalise on a part of the female body. Outtakes from this series have been distinguished with the Daily Deviation award, a highly prized recognition by peers and fans alike, that is awarded by the Gallery Directors of Deviant Art, the biggest online art community on the web, worldwide.
